Job Description
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to design and architect the back end infrastructure of our SaaS application.
Develop server-side logic and APIs that power the functionality of our SaaS platform.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through efficient coding practices and system architecture.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
Ensure seamless integration of front end and back end components, working closely with front end developers.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of server-side components to identify and resolve issues and bottlenecks.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and manage the application infrastructure on cloud platforms.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to back end development and SaaS applications.
Document and maintain clear technical specifications and contribute to the overall technical documentation of the project.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven experience working as a Back End Developer, preferred on SaaS projects.
Strong proficient in server-side programming languages such as Python, Javascript languages.
Proficiency in web development frameworks such as Django, Flask, Nodejs/Nestjs.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
Experience with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their services (eg, EC2, S3, RDS).
Knowledge of version control systems (eg, Git) and agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Understanding of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and any frameworks (React, Vue.js).
