Job Description

• Develop and Implement Integration Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions to connect our payment platform with third party platforms.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and external partners to integrate our solution with third party platforms and ensure seamless platform interoperability.
• Optimize for Performance: Ensure integrations are optimized for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.
• API Management: Design, implement, and manage APIs to facilitate communication between our payment platform and various third-party services.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve integration issues and provide technical support for escalated issues.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for integrations, including technical specifications and user guides.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, contribute to team learning, and stay updated on emerging technologies to improve integration processes and performance.
• Other Tasks as Assigned: Perform additional tasks related to the integration and development as assigned by the leadership team.

Job Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in PHP, with experience in web frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony.
• API Expertise: Strong experience in RESTful API design, development, and integration, particularly in the context of e-commerce platforms.
• E-commerce Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with platforms like Shopify, Magento / Adobe Cloud, Wix, BigCommerce, and others including their APIs and integration points.
• Database Proficiency: Experience with MySQL and database design/optimization, with knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Version Control: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.
• Front-End Understanding: Knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
• Cloud Services Experience: Experience with cloud platforms.
• Containerization: Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Testing: Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing in PHP.
• Additional Programming Languages: Proficiency in additional languages like Go, Python, JavaScript, or Node.js is a plus.
