Roles and Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Scientist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and refining ML models to support real-time health predictions and diagnostics across structured and unstructured data sources, including clinical records, imaging, and sensor data.
• Integrating multimodal health data sources and applying fusion techniques to provide clinicians with comprehensive insights into patient health.
• Implementing interpretability methods (eg, SHAP, attention mechanisms) to ensure model predictions are transparent and tailored to clinical use cases.
• Managing ML pipeline processes, including model versioning, CI/CD for model updates, and monitoring for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring adherence to healthcare data standards (HIPAA, GDPR) in model handling and data processing.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field, with substantial research experience.
• At least 3-5 years of experience.
• Advanced Python skills, with deep expertise in machine learning libraries, particularly PyTorch, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Experience developing, training, and deploying deep learning models, ideal for applications in biology or healthcare.
• Proficiency in machine learning DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and version control (Git).
• Strong understanding of bioinformatics and computational biology is a significant advantage.
• Ability to tackle complex scientific and engineering challenges independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Fluent in English
