Job Description

• Collaborate with product managers and architects to design scalable APIs.
• Build reusable, testable API endpoints and microservices using .NET.
• Integrate diverse systems by leveraging API gateways and message queues.
• Load test APIs and implement optimizations to handle heavy workloads.
• Foster a culture of security and compliance when developing APIs.
• Mentor junior developers on best practices for API development.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of .NET API development experience.
• Proven expertise in developing complex REST APIs at scale.
• Strong grasp of multithreading, asynchronous coding, and WebSockets.
• Experience profiling, debugging, improving API performance.
• Passion for API design and learning best practices.
• Careful attention to detail with good communication skills.
• Passion for API design and learning integration best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate English proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

Nice to Have:

• Expert-level knowledge of Web API design patterns.
• Experience developing extremely high-volume, low-latency APIs.
• Passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies.
• Proven track record delivering reliable, scalable API solutions.
• Deep understanding of CQRS, DDD, and microservices architectures.
• Fluency in C#, .NET Core, REST best practices.
• MariaDB, EventStore, and other relational databases.
