Job Description

• Participate in developing backend components using NodeJS for trading systems (crypto/stock/forex...).
• Build and optimize real-time API (RESTful/GraphQL) to serve transaction data transmission, buy and sell orders, price updates, and order matching.
• Design, build and manage microservice systems that ensure scalability, high reliability and low latency.
• Optimize performance for important modules: order management, order book, signal processing (price signals), continuous data synchronization.
• Integrate and secure working with third parties: exchanges, banks, wallets, data feeds (Websocket, REST API).
• Deploy, monitor, and upgrade systems on Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Frontend, Data, QA teams to analyze, design, implement and test new features.
• Ensure code quality, security, perform unit testing, integration testing and system optimization.
• Handle system incidents (incident, outage) quickly, especially during peak trading times.
• Research and propose new technology solutions to serve real-time transaction requirements, big data, machine learning (if any).
• Participate in analyzing and upgrading the architecture to prepare the system for heavy loads, market expansion or new products.

Request

• 3 years or more experience with Java production.
• Responsible for designing, architecting, and maintaining the real-time trading system throughout (order book, matching engine, event sourcing...).
• Proficient in websocket, event handling, anti-pattern, synchronization, real-time (pub/sub, message queue).
• Have the ability to optimize performance, scale trading system services to handle high loads, low latency (extremely important).
• Know how to test, analyze logs, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud (AWS, GCP...) is an advantage.
• Experience in building fault-tolerant, high-availability systems.
• Extensive knowledge of system security (specifically financial/trading) is an advantage
• Ability to mentor, review code, propose solutions.
