JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking to hire a talented Backend Developer (PHP & Node.js) to build a new and innovative e-commerce platform. We are looking for someone who can integrate server-side application logic with frontend developers and application developers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain core backend systems for the platform
• Develop scalable and stable RESTful APIs
• Design and optimize databases
• Develop integrations with external services and systems
• Improve and optimize system performance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Deep understanding of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Excellent research skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
• 3+ years web development experience required
• Experience in developing distributed servers, large-scale servers (ex, AWS)
• Experience in Managing hosting (DB administration & scaling applications to support load changes)
• Experience with backup setup and administration
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Ability to design DB schemas (represent and support business processes)
• Ability to output data in different formats (JSON, XML, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of web development tools and programming languages
• Node.js and related frameworks(ex, Laravel, Express.js or NestJS)
• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Excellent ability to design and utilize relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and non-SQL (MongoDB and Redis)
• Proficient in using code versioning tools such as Git
• Understanding of CI/CD environments and practices (GitLab CI/CD)
• Understanding of design/collaboration tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Zeplin, preferred
