Job Description

• Write high quality and testable code following clean code and SOLID design principles
• Propose and discuss complex technical solutions, create design documentation
• Communicate with customers, clarify functional and non-functional requirements
• Plan and organize own work for tasks and projects, and carry out functions without direct supervision
• Perform profiling and troubleshooting for existing solutions
• Follow and understand defined software development processes, such as task assignment, daily issue tracking, etc.
• Work with operations teams and end users to ensure project deliverables are accepted and released into production environments
• Analyze and improve application performance, efficiency and stability
• Identify and fix system problems, errors and bottlenecks

Candidate requirements

• Obligatory
• At least 6 years of software development experience, including solid experience with backend technologies.
• Proficient in multiple (2 or more) different tech stacks: Ruby on Rails/PHP (Laravel)/Java, Reactjs/Nodejs.
• Experience working with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL): MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Experience working with version control tools (Git).
• Solid understanding of application architectures such as RESTful API, Microservices.
• Experience working with frontend tools and frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js is a plus.
• Good problem solving skills and strong logical thinking ability.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Design programs with high flexibility and extensibility based on requirements.
• Be able to think about the necessary unit tests and write them.
• Code review and code quality assurance by other engineers.
• Investigate unknown problems and solve them.
• Ability to learn new techniques in a short period of time and work under pressure.

• Round 1: Offline, technical interview
• Round 2: Online interview with Japanese CEO

Interest

• Range: 25M - 50M gross, 13 months salary + performance bonus (Depending on the company situation)
