Job description
- Setting up knowledgeable and engaging stores: collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate business needs into functional and visually appealing website
- Theme customization: Make bespoke themes and change all the pre-existing templates according to the predefined company guidelines.
- App integration: Ensure smooth connection with the Shopify Apps, Marketing Tools, and Platform APIs to enhance site functionality
- Shopify store management and development: Must debug and test out the websites regularly to enhance the performance. Offer coordination and technical support to protect the company against failure. Optimize for speed and scalability.
- Stay updated on the latest Shopify features, apps, and tools.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other similar field.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience on related field, especially the Shopify platform
- Proven experience as a Shopify developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify-based projects
- Solid knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem, Liquid programming language and Shopify Plus features.
- Strong front-end development skills: JavaScript, DOM, CSS3 and HTML5, frameworks like React or Vue.js
- Experience in API Storefront with proven work of theme customization
- Expertise in maintenance, launch, and shop construction and having general understanding of the admin system: payment gateways, shipping configurations, and taxes within Shopify
- Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git or Bitbucket)
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for e-commerce websites
- Having the ability to provide proactive feedback and interact effectively.
