Job Description
- Participation in sourcing and supplier selection
- Work out improvement activities together with the suppliers and ensure fulfillment of it.
- Visit, evaluate and audit existing and new suppliers.
- Handling quality complaints from suppliers – containment action, 8D and claims
- Manage escalations for suppliers for under performances
- New projects and localization – considerations, risk assessment and part development
- Drive supplier performance improvement programs
- Reporting of supplier quality activities & status
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in supplier development for quality and technology for mechanical engineering process mainly for maching of componance.
- Technical understanding (read engineering drawing)
- Quality awareness (know about ISO/TS 16949/14000/
- Knowledge in QC tools, 5 core tools
- Knowledge in project management.
- Good English in speaking and writing
- Good communication skills.
- Good interpersonal, suvervising, and influencing skills internally and externally
