Job Details
- Lead and manage testing teams in various projects to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide mentorship and training for junior QA engineers and testers.
- Participate in the proposal and estimation phases of projects, providing insights on testing strategies and timelines.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Katalon, etc. (Karate is a plus).
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and clients to define test plans and strategies.
- Track and report testing progress, issues, and risks.
- Promote and ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and documentation.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Test Lead or similar role.
- Strong communication skills in English (Japanese is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Katalon; Karate is a plus).
- Experience in test planning, test case design, and defect management.
- Experience in collaborating with clients in a project proposal or presenting a proposal to clients.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB (CT-TAE is a strong plus).
