Key Responsibilities

In this position you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the ptcusa.com website, and other Pyramid cloud service website front ends. The website is currently based on React and Gatsby and uses a fully serverless architecture. You will be expected to provide continuous aesthetic and functional improvements to the website. There will be a large opportunity for creative influence on the website design from top to bottom. The website is primarily a storefront for selling products and therefore there is an expectation to be able to work closely with the sales and marketing team to increase conversions using a data driven approach.

Basic Qualifications

• Modern JavaScript ES6 understanding
• Strong React.js understanding
• Some Webpack experience
• Experience maintaining user analytics services
• Strong CSS, SASS, or Styled-Components experience
• Strong web design abilities, including, mobile support, accessibility, and performance
• Ability to write clean and minimal code with few dependencies
• 1+ years of experience in designing, developing and operating web application

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Gatsby, Next.js, or GraphQL
• Experience with Firebase or Contentful services
• Experience with e-commerce integration
• Experience with medical device manufacturing
