Job description Akila is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with ambition, creativity and a passion for sustainability and technology. Our team is involved in a wide variety of technologies, like digital twin, microservice, big data. This role will be critical as a Java expert to develop RESTful APIs serving our customer. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where speed, hard work and fresh thinking are critical to success.
- Collaborate with team to analyze product needs and propose technical solutions.
- Follow agile process and ensure delivery independently on schedule with good quality.
- Compose technical documents regularly.
- Communicate with Product Manager for requirements.
- Track and analyze product issues, conduct trouble shooting and bug fixing.
JON REQUIREMENT - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required and Master’s degree is preferred.
- 3+ years backend development experience is preferred.
- Solid understanding of CS fundamentals and JDK 11+, Spring boot 3.x is a must.
- Knowledge and skill required: RESTful API, Microservice architecture, Distributed transaction, and Code management (GitHub/JIRA….)
- Knowledge and experience preferred: Spring Cloud, Spring Security, MySQL, Redis, Spark, Kafka, MQTT, CICD and Docker
- Knowledge and experience in IoT data collection, procession and analytics is a plus.
- Familiar with open-source libraries.
- Proactive & Plan-Do-Check-Act attitude with good capabilities of problem solving.
- Prioritization, excellent attention to details and follow through design and able to work independently.
- Adaptable, resilient, and positive attitude. Flexible and agile with understandings of the relevant market and new platform solutions.
- English is a must.
