Responsibilities
- Designing technical solutions that covering client’s needs and requirements
- Analyzing the technology environment
- Participating and leading workshops at customer premises for efficient gathering of technical requirements and performance of technical trade-off sessions
- Gathering and documenting requirements
- Preparing technical deliverables including software development and V&V plans, performing and overseeing validaton and verification activities in-house and at customer premises
- Leading, managing and developing software development teams in terms of technical, business and soft skills
- Leading project teams
- Choosing proper technology stack
- Creating solution prototypes
- Participating in technology selection in coordination with the CTO and overall company strategy
- Developing code according to the selected technology stack
- Supporting management in technology decisions
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience working as Solution Architect
- Demonstrated pipeline of developed complex solutions including integrations with standard corporate IT infrastructure (ERP, PLM, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience working with large aerospace, space, defence or automotive customers
- Demonstrated experience with leading or performing documented V&V activities acc. To standard aerospace process requirements
- Demonstrated experience in aerospace software product assurance and software quality assurance domain
- Ability to choose the best technology and tools to meet requirements
- Demonstrated OOP and software design knowledge
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Express/React frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Successfully built APIs, architected database models, and event driven patterns
- Experience unit tests and integration tests
- Understand CI/CD pipelines, familiar with JIRA and Git
- Prefer convenience to complexity when writing code
- Demonstrated xxperience with writing technical documentation and specification
- Good understanding of AWS services
- Experience with leading and developing junior and senior software development teams
- Excellent working knowledge of English
Non-technical Skills
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Excellent mastering of English language
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with leading software developers
- Willingness to travel
- This position is primarily based in Bratislava with possibility of short or long term deployments to our customer locations in Europe
