Job Description
- Develop and maintain websites and web applications using PHP and WordPress.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Optimize website performance to ensure fast loading times and excellent user experience.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services into WordPress systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing systems.
- Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to deliver projects effectively.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with PHP and WordPress.
- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Skilled in building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins
- Familiar with custom post types,
- Gutenberg blocks, ACF, WPML (multilang) and WP REST API
- Experience integrating APIs and handling form submissions securely
- Knowledge of Laravel framework: routing, controllers, Eloquent ORM, and middleware
- Experience working with and integrating frontend with backend systems.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud Infrastructure and CICD is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Strong understanding of WordPress theme and plugin customization.
- Experience with PHP Laravel frameworks is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills, proactive attitude, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Preference for candidates with experience in API integration and third-party services.
